Often times nowadays we hear of groups pushing for the cloistered walls of houses of worship belonging to different religions be torn down and allow worshippers across the religious divide to do their worshipping in the prayer vestibule of other faiths.
Most of these seem to be directed at Islam and mosques, cross dividing at times, with churches.
Besides churches, will temples of certain faiths allow LGBTs in shorts, bikinis , thongs or even nothing on their bodies inside? Pray, answer to this.
Why, even the LGBTs, the atheists and ultra liberals see their conviction as much as as others would look at religion. So, do please allow them in to behave as they please according to their bizzare narcissitic beliefs. Is that not freedom and liberalism?
If the answer is no, BACK-OFF from harping on Islam and Muslims.
- LV

In the name of freedom?

It is aggression through and through in the guise of freedom of expression and pluralism in religion. They relentlessly push through their one size fits all agenda to open up the dominion of Islamic faith, by comparing the ways practiced by other sects, without understanding the myriad rudiments.
They refrain from accepting and converting to Islam, and Islam does not compel them to do so, although they have been callous instances in the name of Islam to apply force in this matter. Verily, that is not Islam - it is terrorism using Islam as veil.
Without giving regards to decorum asnd sensitivity to those who profess the faith, they persist to water down the ordained rules of the Almighty. What for? Clearly, this is questionable and only points to a dark agenda of attrition and destruction, so that they will have their way.
That is what we see before us today...

Bar Council 2015/2016 Election: 23 Candidates File Nomination Papers

Twenty-three candidates have filed nomination papers for election to the Bar Council for the 2015/2016 term, pursuant to section 49 of the Legal Profession Act 1976. The deadline for submission of nomination papers was yesterday, 31 Oct 2014.
2015/2016 Bar Council Elections Candidate : Mohd Khairul Azam Bin Abdul Aziz
Never one to give up easily, Mohd Khairul Azam Bin Abdul Aziz is back in the electoral fray for the 3rd year running. Having established his reputation as a prominent lawyer since 2012, when he alone bravely stood up before the Malaysian Bar EGM at the time to denounce the hypocritical actions of the Bar Council tabling a resolution applauding BERSIH 3.0for its efforts to smear the credibility of the Malaysian electoral system at the time when elections to the Bar Council itself were, and still are, far from transparent, he has since made a name for himself traversing the nation rallying Malaysians of all creeds, lawyers and non-lawyers alike, to defend the Sedition Act 1948 against the Bar Council’s pressure on the Government to repeal the Act.
A loving husband and father of four daughters, Mohd Khairul Azam, or Buzze Azam as he is affectionately known to family and friends, strongly supports upholding the Rule of Law and the Federal Constitution, in particular the fundamentals that make the basic structure thereof namely the position of Islam as the religion of the state, the status of Malays and other indigenous communities, Malay as the national language and the position of the Malay rulers. He believes in that consistency in the application of the Constitution is key to progress, particularly when it comes to matters of law and policy, and more so by the Malaysian Bar, which represents the voice of lawyers throughout the country. He has consistently decried the actions of the Bar Council as currently constituted in ignoring the voice and will of the rakyat when it comes to legal matters of importance and, by the grace of Allah, hopes to be given the opportunity to change this if he is elected to the Council.
Buzze notes that the Bar Council as of late has been rather inconsistent in its stand when it comes to resolutions passed by the Malaysian Bar, preferring to act in accordance with its resolution passed at the EGM on September 19, 2014 when it comes to the Sedition Act 1948 but choosing to keep silent when Dato Seri Gopal Sri Ram acts as counsel to Anwar Ibrahim contrary to the another one of the Malaysian Bar’s resolution passed at its AGM on March 15, 2014. He believes that this is yet another example of the Bar Council’s failure to abide by its own calling to defend justice without fear or favour, and promises to make efforts to reform the Bar in this regard if elected.

Support change. Vote for Buzze Azam for a better Bar.

Majlis Peguam melangkaui skop pertubuhan

Don't ignite the flames that will destroy racial harmony - Zaman Khan

It is interesting to read the piece, “Not May 13 looming, but class war among Malays".

It is also interesting to listen to what Former Bukit Aman CID chief Tan Sri Mohamed Zaman Khan Rahim Khan had gone through during years of service.

Tan Sri Mohamed Zaman retired from the police force almost 17 years ago. During those years he had gone through the Hartal in 1967, then May 13 racial riots and Ops Lallang.

These views on the present national climate in the context of multi-ethnic and multi faith nature of the people of Malaysia is not as a Malay or Islam, although he is Malay and a Muslim. He is also a Malaysian, who is concerned with the issues that has been rocking the boat of unity and harmony.

In his most humble assessment, he sees the vicious exchange of seditious outbursts with racial, ethnic overtones, and most dangerously the blasphemous rhetoric, has reached a very dangerous level, awaiting to spark and cause a conflagration that will destroy whatever racial goodwill, unity and harmony that remains. The erosion is taking place and Tan Sri Mohamad Zaman says he is afraid because there is only a thin layer of that remaining.

He is with Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin on this issue, and he will not hesitate to echo that "another racial riot could happen amid the recent rise in racial tension."

Tan Sri Mohamad Zaman’s article, "Stop Rocking the Perpaduan and Harmony Boat" dated February 25 was written over concerns that should Malaysians of all races and faiths disregard racial, ethnic and religious sensitivities. It is a wake-up call. It is not a challenge for anybody to ignite the flames of tragedy.

In his humble opinion, that was what Tan Sri Muhyiddin meant. He was not calling for us to start causing trouble. However, a politician up north thinks otherwise. That mentally-blinkered politician (a doctor, no less) should have echoed what the Deputy Prime Minister had said and meant.

Tan Sri Mohamad Zaman feels that we all should call on the rest of the rakyat to refrain from uttering words with seditious and blasphemous tendencies – words that will, invariably, stir the anger and incur the wrath of the others.

You may have read an article posted on Facebook  just before this auspicious Islamic month of Ramadan, written by someone appearing to be a Chinese going by the name of Chow Jack, who wished Muslims “Selamat Menyambut Hari Syaitan Aidilfitri pada 28 Julai 2014, dan sebulan puasa makan babi hingga sebulan pada 28 Jun – 27 Julai 2014. Selamat Menyambut Hari Syaitan daripada Facebook Melayu makan bah kut the sama Nabi Mohd syaitan anjing pukimak anjing syaitan.”

Surely this is blasphemous and extremely provocative.

Tan Sri Mohamad Zaman says it is Allah’s words unto Muslims not to create havoc, and as such, this article alone could have been inflammable enough to ignite a religious riot.

It is a fact that the Malay persona is all about patience, but then being mere mortals, some may not have gone by the book, when some wayward among the flock had done similarly provocative and blasphemous act over the cow head incident. The difference here being that they have been charged and convicted.

Lastly, Tan Sri Mohamad Zaman asks, “Have you read the book, “Kontrak Sosial: Perlembagaan Persekutuan 1957: Pengikat Jati Diri Bangsa Malaysia Merdeka” by Mohd Rizal Yaakop Shamrahayu A.Aziz? Get it from MPH and understand the mould of the situation.

YTL sebenar cukup licik.

Taiping Consolidated kemudian ditukar nama menjadi YTL Land & Development. (Baca lagi: http://www.theedgemalaysia.com/features/153046–cover-story-all-the-cash-but-nothing-to-buy.html)

Bagaimanapun, setelah seketika berlegar-legar, dia mulai resah.

PM saman Malaysiakini!

KELAKAR sungguh Presiden Majlis Peguam Malaysia, Christopher Leong.

Terbaca satu post dalam Facebook mengenai gesaan supaya memboikot McDonalds kerana Pengerusinya, Jack M.Greenberg, didakwa ahli kehormat American-Jewish Chamber of Commerce.
Fakta: sebenarnya Pengerusi McDonalds ialah Andrew J. McKenna, dan CEO McDonalds ialah Don Thompson. Greenberg hanya hingga 2002.

Legal mind that comes to nought...

A so called legal and constitutional expert wrote in Free Malaysia Today (FMT) that notwithstanding the 'no secession' article inserted into the Constitution at the insistence of Sabah and Sarawak, these two states have intrinsic right to exit.

The 'expert' says that all it takes is a local assembly resolution.

Intrinsic right? Then, how come President Merkel of Germany has told Russia's President that Crimea's Assembly vote to secede and join Russia is illegal?

Quite some time ago when many quarters of our multi-ethnic and multi-faiths society  were demanding the annihilation of the Internal Security Act, I was asked for my opinion, as I was in the Police.

I cautioned that if not for the Internal Security Act we Malaysians may not be as prosperous and as peaceful,  as we have experienced until of late.

We may not be prosperous as we want to be but surely we all know Malaysians are not starving.

It is because of the ISA that we are as we are. I stated then that if  we cast ISA, away we may end up having ethnic and also inter-faiths clashes.

Forgive me for being blatant. If we are not careful we are coming to that. Salvos of words of hatred being fired from irresponsible and thoughtless and selfish artillery daily. I say stop it. The sea is getting dangerous and if we do not handle the boat properly we may sink.

Malaysians of all races and faiths are lucky. We have the Hari Raya Aidil Fitri after observing fasting for thirty days, and the Aidil Adha for the Muslims, the Deepavali and the Thaipusam for the Hindus, Christmas for the Christians, the New year celebrated by all and the Awal Muharam for the Muslims. We all go our respective prayer houses on those days and without doubt pray for better years to come for peace, prosperity and happiness.

I have never once heard a prayer of hatred in the sermons preceding the prayer. We greeted and visited each other with warm hands and smiles. We made it a point to serve food and drinks that is halal for all; no beef for Hindus, no pork and halal chicken, beef, mutton for Muslims. We joined ritual of Yee San. And the celebration would go for days.

Sadly it is not so this year; the Year of the Horse. Tradition of good wishes was crushed!

Teresa Kok ; the Member of Parliament for Siputeh choose  to do what she claimed to be a satire. Yes a satire of hatred. Must a Democratic Party official and an MP stoop so low as to irresponsibly choose a celebration to present a satire as an “entertainment” and destroy a tradition practiced for generations; no hatred? I am not senile yet. To the best of my memory there was no such satire of hatred when Muslims celebrate.

The sermons and the supplications after the prayer always call for respect and tolerance for each other. There may be call for unity of Muslims against cruelties such as the inhuman treatment of the Palestinians  by the Zionists and the ethnic cleansing of the Rohingyas in their homeland of Myanmar.

No country in the world is perfect. We have a right to voice our dissatisfaction. However, we must do so within the bounds of propriety. Respect the provisions of the Constitution of the Federation of Malaysia chiseled by our forefathers. Let us not forget necessities and respects for each other. Let us save Malaysia by civilities and be mindful of consequences of we utter and do.

We do not want the dark days of 13 May to be repeated. A lot of people said Malaysia has gone to the dog because of 13 May. Is it so? Is it one race that rules the country?

We used to have a good mix. However, some people chose to put a spanner in the wheel of unity. Of all issues that split the nation is the education; the demand by Dong Zong in demanding equal status for Chinese education.

I say without fear or favour that this is the one single  disruptive issue which destroys the hope of unity of Malaysians.; it is the language of lingua franca. Bahasa Indonesia (which is Malay in origin) is the language of unity in that chain of thousands of islands and lingua franca.

In Sabah and Sarawak our brothers and sisters there used the Malay Language to communicate with their neighbouring tribes. I grow up at the border of Malaysia and Thailand. I recalled that there was a Chinese school in Sungai Golok to cater for Chinese in South Thailand and some from Kelantan. Then one day the school was closed and the building was used as rice store by  Thai authorities. And to this day there is no Chinese school in the whole of the Kingdom of Thailand, and there are also no Chinese characters written on business boards or commercial hoardings.

Thais of Chinese ethnicity do not often speak Chinese among themselves. In Southeast Asia, other than Singapore and Malaysia, no Chinese schools are allowed.

In Malaysia, because of the separate schools, most of our children do not mix well. You can see this at the bus stops after school; the groupings. Who is responsible? I say without fear. The Chinese educationist under the selfish and corrupt Dong Zong.

The claims that the Malays are not sharing powers in the administration is not wholly correct. I would invite my non-Malay friends to dig into events after May 13. If the Malays had no intention to share powers in the administration of the country the model improvised; Director of Government (DOG) and the National Security Council (NOC) would have been extended without hesitation.

However, that was not the case. As soon as security was stabilized, Parliament was reconvened and it has not been suspended ever since. This is not being appreciated.

I am no longer privy to all the information and intelligence with regards to our national security. However, I cannot help but try to fathom the pressure and stress in our community. It is not good.

Situation is such that; in my humble appreciation, it is similar to what preceded “Ops Lallang” where quite a number were given accommodation at Kamunting Detention Center.

An action by a lone dissatisfied soldier; Private Adam, almost created panic in the whole country. I was involved. An assessment on the road near Chow Kit Market compelled the Inspector General of Police to direct me to issue a press announcement at about 4 am telling the public what actually happened, and refuting all the rumors that Kuala Lumpur was under curfew. It was not at all true and I urged the public, especially the school children to continue with their daily routine. Let us not march in that direction. God forbid.

Teresa, you didn’t mean ‘Mami Jarum’?

Really, Teresa…you actually believe that your video was intended for only  those who speak and understand Cantonese and Mandarin?

Why, then the subtitles? Maybe for those who speak Mandarin and Cantonese, but are visually-challenged? Then, again, what about those who are hearing-impaired. Wanna throw-in sign language, as well?

For sure, the English sub-titles are meant to take your disgusting thoughts further than only within the confines of the parochial lot you claimed.

Your orchestrated audience laughed on cue, for of course, they have been briefed before the final cut that the characters in the limelight were supposed to be representing the personas of Wee Ka Siong, Rosmah, and Yen Yen.

Frankly, no one will laugh if they were nobody, right?

Like, who cares if it is just someone who likes branded handbags, diamond rings, and other dastardly innuendos. You didn’t really mean ‘Mami Jarum’, did you?

Come on, la…a parody or even a comedy such this doesn’t stand on its own for laughs…

Teresa's idea of a joke? What next? 'Thin Skull' defence?

It all lurks in the detritus of the mind and the heart, when attacks are disguised as jokes and comedy. The same happens when art is used as weapon.

One needs to think in the circumstance...ask the conscience if we truly believe in our defence and excuses?

This is the issue facing Seputeh MP Teresa Kok over the so-called humorous Year of the Horse video, which had gone viral.

Again, this time around it’s denial, claiming that it is nothing more than a joke.

In the Alvivi case, the shameless couple claimed ‘respect’ and humour and in an attempt to make right what they did to Muslims, who were offended by their stupid invite to join in their pork Bak Kut Teh repast during the holy month of Ramadan.

Well, they now have to face the consequences.

Not learning, or unable to ever learn despite being an adult, or worse a political leader who claim to be righteous and having respect for others, Teresa has gone too far.

No, she did not blunder or did it inadvertently.

She did such a polished job of subtly humiliating others with her eyes and mind wide open. No excuse.

Next, will she go for the ‘thin skull’ defence?

Use the gullible Chinese, ma...

KUALA LUMPUR: Bravo! Bravo! Is it sweet revenge, retribution of sorts, or is about karma?

Pick one, and many a detractor, and even friends among the disparate Pakatan Rakyat fold will find each description useful and appropriate to describe what PKR has done or undone by causing a by-election to be called in Kajang.

Many had thought that Parti Keadilan, which should be holding strong to its namesake, ‘justice’ would carry through it’s holier-than-thou persona. It is not to be, now that it has tripped on its undone shoelace, and that beyond reproach quality is relegated far in the backburner.

What is clearer than ever now, PKR has betrayed its voters. The party has become the weakest link in Pakatan Rakyat.

In the wake of the misstep, PAS is on the warpath, seemingly trying to reedem its ‘maruah’ in that pact with the ‘devilish’ and scheming ways of the stalwarts in PKR.Why, they have been pretty much left out of the equation in Anwar’s political games and shenanigans.

So sleek is his move that even the DAP has been left dumbfounded. Hello, DAP, you awake?

Also, can this pertinent question be answered? Why did a Chinese assemblyman have to resign to make way for Anwar?

Is it because Anwar is only confident of winning in a Chinese area.

Use the gullible Chinese, ma…

Akidah, syirik diketepikan kerana alasan budaya?
