Dah lama dah kita tau, kini Mahathir tegur anaknya...

“Dah lama dah…”

Kupasan Dr Mahathir seperti biasa berpaksikan pandangan rasional, justeru beliau menegaskan walaupun Marina telah banyak menabur jasa membantu golongan kurang bernasib, namun berhubung LGBT beliau perlu mewujudkan sempadan.

RM3bil sebenarnya Abdul Murad punya, tuduhan dangkal

Diplomat Singapura hadir Bersih 3.0 atas kapasiti peribadi?Logik?

Produk makanan bahaya kerana sifat bangsa?

The three unwise diplomats from the south in Bersih 3.0 demo

In conjunction with AIDCNews, as a follow up to the report on the involvement of three foreign diplomats in the BERSIH 3.0 demonstrations last April 28, many have asked for the names as well as the country they represent.

“The issue is the identity of the diplomats…where were they from? Are we going to do nothing when another country meddles directly in our affairs?

“We want AIDCNews to come out with the names…we want AIDC to be more responsible and immediately expose the names of the diplomats and their countries,” challenged MyMassa, followed by bicarapenang, jentayuabakasejarahmelayu and talkwithhand.

The others sharing interest in the matter include, blogs wizuraikota, lenggongvalley, aloqaloq and many more.

And so, here we are…the country in question is Singapore, whose three staff members of its High Commission in Malaysia were positively identified as among those actively participating in the demonstrations.

They comprised:

1.      First Secretary (Political), Regina LOW Kay Yin ( regina_low@mfa.gov.sg), who wore the ‘regulation’ BERSIH 3.0 yellow T-shirt.

2.      First Secretary (Political), Philomena AW Li Fen ( philomena_aw@mfa.gov.sg).

3.      Deputy High Commissioner and Counsellor, Ariel Eunice TAN Hwi Tiang ( ariel_tan@mfa.gov.sg.

All three are diplomatic staff members at the Singapore High Commission in Malaysia, Level 15, West Wing, The Icon, No.1, Jalan 1/68F, Jalan Tun Razak 50400 Kuala Lumpur.

In a related matter, last June 11, Malaysian Foreign Minister, Datuk Seri Anifah Aman said, although their presence may have been to gather information or something else, it was not a smart move.

The minister expressed concern that what they did would cast a negative perception, since in all realities they should be more sensitive to the good relationship between this country and theirs.

The active participation of the three diplomats in moving along with the protesting group from Petaling Street to Dataran Merdeka was clearly in contravention of ethics under ‘Article 41 (1) of The Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, 1961’, which forbids diplomats from meddling in the affairs of another nation.

Meanwhile, in its latest post, MyMassa Monday revealed what is known as the PACA Training Programme, which allegedly forms the basis for Singapore’s involvement in Malaysian politics.

The blog published photos relating to the PACA programme held at 223A/B, River Valley Road, Singapore.

As adjunct to what was revealed by MyMassa, the unspinners, mynewshub and just read carried reports on the visit by several Singapore diplomats and their ensuing closed-door meeting with Kedah Menteri Besar, Datuk Seri Azizan Abdul Razak.

The blogs severally posed one pertinent question: ‘What were their motives, in view that what transpired was clearly contrary to the ethics of a diplomatic officer…?”

Foreign diplomats in Bersih 3.0 against Vienna Convention

A document has revealed the involvement of at least three foreign diplomats in the BERSIH 3.0 demonstrations last April 28.

The supposedly confidential document named those involved as well as the staff ranking of the members of the diplomatic corp. The three were identified during the gathering, which was trying to make its way from Jalan Petaling to Dataran Merdeka.

According to the document, one of the three persons identified wore the BERSIH 3.0 yellow T-shirt.

The unbecoming act of the three diplomatic officials, which had clearly shown their partisan support to the BERSIH 3.0 agenda was against the ethics of the diplomatic corps under the ‘The Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations 1961 Article 41 (1)’, which forbids them from interfering or be involved in the politics of another country.

The document recommends that the three delinquent diplomats should be expelled from Malaysia for having contravened Article 9 (1) of the Vienna Convention.

Several days before the demonstration, The Malaysian Insider had reported that Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, along with key leaders of BERSIH 3.0 would have a closed-door meeting with foreign diplomats.

According to the portal, the closed-door meeting was to be held at 3.00 pm at the Doubletree Hilton on April 25.

Last June 12, Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Anifah Aman told the vernacular tabloid, Sinar Harian that he was deeply concerned with the involvement of foreign diplomats in the opposition-backed street demonstration.

Whether the diplomats were merely carrying out their duties as information gatherers or something more sinister, what they did was not wise.

He said such an act would lead to a negative perception of the country, and that diplomats should always be sensitive to the ways of the host country and strive to maintain good bilateral relations.

Ambiga sees Yahoo! a platform to 'martyr' herself

The most visible figure behind the last Bersih outing, which culminated in shocking violence on both the police, journalists and even the protestors themselves today said she was willing to go to jail for ‘free elections.’

Many expected that to materialise.

It is a strategy common among political agitators – to use human rights as platform and pander to the sympathy of the gullible public.

And with memories of Myanmar’s Aung San Su Kyii’s protracted house arrest still fresh in many a mind, what better time for Ambiga to showcase her ‘heroine for freedom’ façade.

But, her statement indicating that she was willing to be jailed if Putrajaya would commit to cleaning up the election process before the next General Election is baffling.

If the government has anything to clean up, why then should Ambiga offer herself to be jailed?

What is the motive? What is the purpose? What is it for?

From this, the more enlightened among political observers will be able to see how she has taken the opportunity offered by Yahoo! in its chat session Thursday to pander to the whole world and remind them that she is still the much-maligned female freedom fighter that must be sympathised at all cost.

Ramifikasi Pindaan Akta Profesion Undang-undang 2012...

Treason? Azmin's so-called revelation may be his undoing

And so, Deputy PKR president Azmin Ali is now playing wag the dog, to divert negative political attention away from himself.

What to him was an earth-shattering and juicy piece of revelation to run down Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak by linking a purportedly treacherous act via his proxy Abdul Razak Baginda again comes as no surprise.

Why, just about anyone can make up any stories and try to cast aspersions and doubts over someone else, which in this case, happens to be the Prime Minister himself.

With the 13th General Election due anytime now, there will be no let-up in attacks against the government leaders.

Azmin accused that Najib’s ‘proxy’ Razak Baginda hold sold the country’s defence secrets to certain foreign countries in exchange for kick-backs in the Scorpene submarine deal.

The so-called revelation was communicated to Azmin by SUARAM, which in itself has a dubious cloak of doubts all over it.

It is common knowledge who is behind SUARAM and which foreign organisation and country is funding it in return for the sale of the country’s soul to the devil.

Hence, the so-called exposé by Azmin through SUARAM is in effect treason of the highest order, given such claims are related to national security that also affects the country’s image.

For the record, in purchases of arms and military equipment, it is a fact that the purchaser’s requirements may have to be provided to the manufacturer or supplier, so as to fit with the specifications.

Therefore, looking it another way, what is stopping anyone to pay-off an insider in the party manufacturing the equipment to sell-off or divulge such ‘secrets’ for devious ends?

Without coming clean with real proof, aside from such wild allegations made by someone, who himself has so much doubts riding on his personality, the so-called expose by Azmin is highly irresponsible.

Why did RPK Expose Documents on Azmin?

One question that begs to be answered is why Raja Petra Kamaruddin (RPK), through his Malaysia Today website, exposed the incriminating documents relating to PKR Deputy President, Azmin Ali.

According to blogger GA, it all boils down to his failure to deliver on his financial commitment.

“It looks like Azmin is still UNABLE to settle his debts with RPK…the amount outstanding is still big, and that was why RPK did not hesitate to reveal more about the Deputy PKR President.

“The good relationship between Azmin and RPK is not new. The erstwhile Free Anwar Campaign was headed by RPK, and paid by Kak Wan through Azmin. Throughout those times, everything was punctual when it came to payments. There were times, Azmin used his own money where necessary. It all added up to quite a sizeable amount.

“However, the problems between Azmin and RPK began when the Free Anwar Campaign for the Sodomy II case did not materialize. The working budget was ready – AUD5 million. It was supposed to be managed by RPK through an office in Sydney, and he had even recruited the staff, operating space and other things necessary for the ops,” said GA in the expose under the heading “RPK vs. Azmin 2.0”.

According to the blogger, like in the past, the all-powerful Azmin in PKR now still has much control over the party’s finances. It was with this power that he stopped the ‘financial budget’ meant for RPK, following the court’s decision to absolve Anwar in the Sodomy 2.0 case last January.

“Soon after Anwar was freed, the allocation meant for RPK was retracted by Azmin during the party’s management meeting. Azmin did not want such an amount spent on a coward, who fled from his own country. RPK got hold of the minutes of the meeting, in which Azmin purportedly said, “It is a bloody waste of money to take care of Petra…

“This was the reason ‘many skeletons in Azmin’s cupboard’ will be exposed to the public by RPK.

Although Azmin was all prepared for all this, the question is if Azmin had been someone who was corrupt, what guarantee is there that he would be clean now?

“Corruption is in the DNA of Azmin, Shamsidar and Anwar, so it shall remain as that. If the rakyat still have doubts about all this play-acting, just be assured that they will go on to be among the country’s most corrupt and dictatorial leaders,” he added.

Last May 25, through his article, “MACC’s Deep Throat comes out of the closet”, RPK showed documented proof of how corrupted the Deputy PKR President was when he was still in government service in 1995.

During that time, Azmin, the ‘blue-eyed boy’ was the private secretary to the then Deputy Prime Minister cum Finance Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

The documents contain reports of Azmin’s corruption, which had been classified as ‘no further action’ under Anwar’s orders.

It was alleged that Anwar had directed his crony, the Director-General of BPR (Anti-Corruption Agency), Datuk Shafee Yahaya to stop investigating Azmin.

Among the documents, was one that mentioned Azmin receiving a monthly allowance of RM15,000 from Berjaya Group’s Tan Sri Vincent Tan.

The document also mentioned a house, shares, and a car totaling no less than RM1.5 million, as well as RM10 million in cash, of which the cheque was made out through his wife, Shamsidar Taharin.

At that time Shamsidar was widely alleged to have been Anwar’s ‘kept woman.’

The assets owned by Azmin at that time was evidently not commensurate with his RM2, 400 a month salary, and combined with his wife’s salary, it was still meager at RM4,500 a month.

The assets included a BMW325i, a Proton Wira 1.6 Xli, Proton Satria 1.6 Xli, Proton Perdana 2.0 SE, 1,000 lot of HICOM shares, and an 8,500 psf at No. 23, Jalan 1/4D, Bukit Mas, Taman Melawati valued at RM210,000.

Investigations showed Azmin in possession of a two-storey bungalow in Setapak worth RM284,118, with a deposit of RM14, 181 paid and a monthly installment of RM3, 376.75.

The anti-corruption officer had also questioned the directive to stop all investigations, in spite of there being real evidence that could directly implicate Azmin with several offences.
