Zaid: Voting MIC in Hulu Selangor is tantamount to giving Mahathir another chance?

Now, what kind of statement is that? An attempt at going for a psychological checkmate in the perceived simple minds of the Hulu Selangor folks?

No, it doesn't work that way, if you ask me.

Like it or not, warts and all, Na jib is delivering well on his 1Malaysia, although as sensible folks we can accept that the road is bumpy although not impossible to traverse. Haven't we seen how the economy is reviving despite the continued global doldrums? Haven't we seen the efforts at fighting corruption? Havent we seen how sensitive religious issues are being addressed?

Of course, knowing that they are fast losing ground and credibility, they must go against something. Therefore, it is not surprising that their only remaining ammo is APCO, Israel, etc - they have obviously have lost sight of the ideals after being clouded by sheer anger and jealousy. They are bankrupt of ideas.

For the voters in Hulu Selangor, God has given them a mind of their own. They can weigh the values and not be easily pursuaded to change just because the opposition campaigners say so. Just ask yourself, isn't the ideals of bringing the lot of Malaysians together something that should be supported? At the end of the day we all win.
