Back to their senses...

Latest unconfirmed reports have it that Kulim-Bandar Baru Member of Parliament Zulkifli Noordin is expected to defect to UMNO after been hit by accusations of being an extremist by de facto leader Anwar and his cohorts.

His possible action was preceded by former Penang Deputy Chief Minister I Mohammad Fairus Khairuddin, who broke his silence for the first time after quitting as Penanti assemblyman and Deputy Chief Minister. He said he had lost confidence in PKR’s leadership.

Fairus's action followed his frustration with the stance taken by PKR and Pakatan Rakyat over the “Allah” issue.

In another development, former PKR secretary-general Datuk Salehuddin Hashim, who resigned from his post in January, has also quit the party. When contacted Salehuddin said he made his decision two weeks after ending his term of office.
