End justifies the means?...I think it should not in Bagan Pinang

Going by what KJ said,

"...that the candidate must meet the criterion of being able to win and if it was felt that he could win, that was the candidate to support... ".

Call me a romantic but I would strongly disagree with this philosophy.

If the end justifies the means, then spurious ends, such as the supremacy of the third Reich, and justifying unethical means, such as destroying anyone who gets in the way of this end should be the norm? It would mean that the main criteria is solely the ability to win?

Political expediency may get political mileage, but it will not last. And it will run out just when situation requires it.

Najib, BN and UMNO should seriously observe that the values shared by all Malaysians, and enshrined in our Rukun Negara be put to use along his lofty 1Msia concept.
