So, from a diversity of early human species who used to occupy the globe, we have reduced dramatically to just one species of modern humans alive today.
Therefore, looking back and thinking really hard, there are lots of lessons to be had from all these evolutions. Nothwithstanding, the thought may come down hard to the reality we see before us in Malaysia right now. The reality that speaks of a more complicated future and disparate polarity of needs and demands.
To me, in nutshell, it all points to a proper coming together of our minds, regardless of race, creed, religion or political affiliations. Our children, who will bear the consequences of what we have wrought for the nation, should be considered.
In spite of all the political frailties, misgivings, misdeeds and ommissions, we must put the future of the country before us. Let us not split it assunder with endless tussles and arguments of who is right and who is wrong.
Let us just concertedly come together to right the wrongs and work things out. This will give a truer meaning to the nation's 50th Merdeka come 31st August this year.
